- ESPAI GAUDÍ, situat a les golfes i la terrassa de la Pedrera de CatalunyaCaixa.

Us presentem una visió àmplia i suggerent d'Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926). Mitjançant dibuixos, maquetes, fotografies i audiovisuals, realitzats especialment per a aquest projecte, s'explica la vida d'aquest arquitecte, el seu context històric i cultural i els valors artístics i les innovacions tècniques de la seva obra.

No et perdis l'espectacular terrat on podràs veure una gran panoràmica de Barcelona, l'Eixample barcelonès i descobreix tres monuments fonamentals de la ruta gaudiniana: la Casa Batlló, la Sagrada Família i el Parc Güell.

L'ESPAI GAUDÍ està pensat per a que els visitants puguin arribar a unes conclusions pròpies i entenguin l'arquitectura de Gaudí per la via del coneixement històric i del raonament.

EL PIS D'ÈPOCA, situat a la quarta planta de la Pedrera de CatalunyaCaixa, té una superfície total de 569 m2 i ocupa l'espai de dos habitatges: en el primer es presenta una exposició i en el segon es reconstrueix un pis d'època. Veurem com es vivia a un pis de principis del segle passat!
 

L'exposició explica com era la ciutat de Barcelona i la ràpida transformació i avanços de la societat en les primeres dècades d'aquest segle. S'han creat, doncs, uns àmbits dedicats a la ciutat, la societat i la vida moderna d'aleshores.

GAUDÍ SPACE, in the attic and on the roof-terrace at La Pedrera de CatalunyaCaixa.

We'd like to present a wide-ranging and thought-provoking vision of Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926). Drawings, models, photographs and videos made especially for this exhibition are used to portray the life of this great architect, his historical and cultural context and the artistic values and technical innovation in his work.

And don't miss the spectacular roof-terrace where you'll have a panoramic view of Barcelona and its Eixample district, including three key buildings on the Gaudí route: Casa Batlló, the Sagrada Familia and Parc Güell.

The Gaudí Space is designed so that visitors can come to their own conclusions and understand Gaudí's architecture by way of historical knowledge and reasoning.

THE PERIOD APARTMENT, on the fourth floor at La Pedrera de CatalunyaCaixa, has a total area of 569 m2 and is on two levels: the first is an exhibition space while the second features a reconstruction of an apartment from the period. See what life was like in an apartment at the turn of the century!

The exhibition shows what the city of Barcelona was like and the rapid changes and advances that took place in society in the early decades of the 20th century through special sections set aside for the city, society and modern life of the period.
